• She has 15 years’ experience negotiating and consulting on policy development, at both national and EU level, and organisational HR policies and procedures, in highly unionised environments.

• She is astute with resources, having built successful business units against a backdrop of 45% funding cuts, making use of strategic workforce planning and people development to deliver significant savings, prevent largescale redundancies, and value for money whilst supporting senior leaders and individuals through difficult periods.

• She has established and led large, remote and hybrid teams, and coached and mentored individuals in their career development.

Laura is a Chartered Member of the CIPD, a CIPD North Senior Professionals Network Champion, and a Certified Practitioner of HR with the Australian HR Institute. She is qualified with a Masters’ degree in Human Resources Management and CIPD Advanced Level 7 accreditation. An experienced senior leader, Laura is a Chartered Manager with the Chartered Management Institute, an Associate Fellow of the Institute of Managers and Leaders Australia and New Zealand, and active member of the Chambers of Commerce and Institute of Directors.
